CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the fourth year in a row, the MIT men's lacrosse team earned the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-Academic Team Award. To qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
This year, the Engineers placed 21 student-athletes on the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team while junior
Zach Bleil (New Canaan, Conn.) secured a spot on the College Sports Communicators At-Large Academic All-District Team. Additional academic accolades were earned by senior
Brennan Hoppa (Hampstead, N.H.), senior
Dylan Nelson (Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.), graduate student
Andrew Palleiko (Hopkinton, Mass.), senior
Nick Stiles (New Canaan, Conn.), and senior
Patrick Timons (Woodside, Calif.) who qualified for the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-Academic Team.
