GILBERT, Ariz. - The MIT men's tennis team was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar All-Academic Team, and 12 student-athletes earned Scholar All-America honors. The Engineers finished with a team GPA of 3.68 for the year.
1,115 Division III Men's student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 135 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the eligibility form.
