NEW ORLEANS – The MIT men's track and field team earned All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Track & Field seasons, as 23 members of the team also earned All-Academic Athlete honors.
The Engineers compiled a team cumulative GPA of 3.749 (4.0 scale) during the 2024-25 academic year. Teams are required to have at least a 3.10 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter to qualify.
Individual student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.30 on a 4.0 scale through the most recently completed grading period to earn All-Academic honors. In addition, they must have finished the season among the top 50 individuals or as a member of one of the top 35 relay teams as listed on the descending order lists on TFRRS or participated in either the indoor or outdoor championships as an individual or a member of a relay.
