IRVING, Texas – Six different goal scorers helped lead the No. 12 MIT women's soccer team to a decisive 7-0 non-conference road victory over the University of Dallas on Sunday afternoon.
The seven goals are the most the Engineers have scored in a game since October 12, 2019, when they defeated Mount Holyoke 7-0.
THE BASICS:
- Score: MIT 7, Dallas 0

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MIT got on the board early as Maeve Sullivan deflected a Natalie Barnouw corner kick into the net at 7:22.
- Sullivan sent a pass to Sean Luk who had her shot saved by Ella Charles, however the rebound went right to Arianna Doss who powered home the goal at 15:59.
- Barnouw collected the ball that deflected off a Dallas defender and put the shot past a diving Charles at 21:22 to make it a 3-0 match.
- Sullivan made it 4-0 with a goal at 24:17 and Ella Conopask made it a five-goal lead at 26:58.
- Skye Williams sent a pass to Emma Wang right outside the box where Wang laced a kick to the top corner of the goal at 39:02.
- Williams wrapped up the scoring for MIT with her goal at 84:15 which was assisted by Ayla Sumer.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Cassidy Jennings got her first start of the season, playing 74 minutes making one save. Maddy Noll finished the game and made one save.
- Wang, Sullivan, and Barnouw are now tied for the team lead with three goals this season.
- Conopask and Williams all scored their first collegiate goals.
- The Engineers earned 10 cornerkicks and put 21 shots on goal while allowing just two.
