The MIT sailing team completed week three with three regattas over the weekend spanning Saturday, March 14 – Sunday, March 15.
GEIGER TEAM RACE | New London, Conn. | 7th of 7
- The Engineers finished the weekend with a 2-10 record, earning wins over Bowdoin and Coast Guard in the opening round of competition.
OPEN SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND TEAM RACE | New London, Conn. | 6th of 8
WOMEN'S SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND TEAM RACE | New London, Conn. | 6th of 8
- The Engineers finished with a 5-7 record, going 4-3 in the opening round and posting a 1-4 record in the second round. In the first round of action, MIT got wins over Northeastern, Roger Williams, Rhode Island, and Yale. MIT grabbed another win over RWU in the second round.
- Brooke Barry, Emma Wang, and Karya Basaraner handled the skipper duties while the crew was comprised of Christine Keedy Brown, Alice Dunning and Tamsin Horne.
