The MIT sailing team opened up the 2026 season at two races over the weekend. Due to the weather and river conditions, both regattas were one day only.  

LIAM O'KEEFE TROPHY | Providence, RI | 8th of 8 

• MIT went 1-6 during the race with a victory over Yale. 
• The skippers for MIT were Robert Ulmer, Will Kulas and Andy Yu while members of the crew were Christine Keedy Brown, Elliott Chalcraft, Adrian Maciuca, and Ryan Hoffman. 

WOMEN'S TEAM RACE | Providence, RI | 7th of 9 

• Brooke Barry, Karya Basaraner, and Emma Wang, handled the skipper duties with Christine Keedy Brown, Layla Bursor, Alice Dunning, Alice Colby, Sophia Woodbury on the crew. 
• The team went 2-6, earning wins over Brown and Rhode Island.

• The Engineers are scheduled to complete next weekend, March 7-8 at the Wood Trophy.
