MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – MIT's
Ruth Lanouette was named the NEWMAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year and was joined by
Mary Lobon on the NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team as announced by the league on Wednesday.

- 2025-26 NEWMAC Rookie of the Year and All-Conference Second Team
- Lanouette became the eighth player in program history to receive Rookie of the Year accolades from the conference.
- Ranks second in the NEWMAC in steals (66) and steals per game (2.5), eighth in points (342), and ninth in points per game (13.2)
Mary Lobon
- 2025-26 NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team
- Ranks third in the NEWMAC in rebounds (243) and rebounds per game (9.3), ninth in blocks (22), and 10th in blocks per game (0.8)
