The MIT sailing team completed week two of its spring schedule, earning a fifth-place finish at the Wood Trophy and a fourth-place finish at the Phebe Corckran King Women's Team Race. 

WOOD TROPHY | Providence, RI | 5th of 7 

• MIT put up a 7-13 record, beating Tufts for fifth based on the tiebreaker of the team's victories against each other. MIT went 3-1 against the Jumbos. 
• The Engineers also grabbed wins over Northeastern. 
• Robert Ulmer, Will Kulas, Andy Yu, and Ryan Hoffman were the skippers for MIT while Ellie Pinto, Elliott Chalcraft, Adé Larsen, Adrian Maciuca, Ryan Hoffman, and Andy Yu were on the crew. 

PHEBE CORCKRAN KING WOMEN'S TEAM RACE | Charleston, SC | 4th of 5 

• The Engineers finished with a 5-7 record, grabbing three wins over Jacksonville and two over Roger Williams. 
• Skippers for MIT were Brooke Barry, Karya Basaraner and Emma Wang while the skippers were Sophia Woodbury, Alice Colby, Layla Bursor, and Alice Dunning.   

UP NEXT: 

• MIT is back in the water next weekend as the Engineers are scheduled to host the Geiger Team Race and will head to New London for the Open Southern Team Race and the Women's Southern New England Team Race from Saturday, March 14-Sunday, March 15.
