Braeden Baker Named AVCA All-Region

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its All-Region selections, with Braeden Baker representing the No. 19 MIT Men's Volleyball team on the Region II All-Region squad. This is the first All-Region selection of Baker's career. 

Baker was named First Team All-UVC and currently has 210 kills and is hitting .273 while averaging 3.23 kills per set. He has 12 matches with at least 10 kills and put up a career-high 28 against NYU on March 7. Additionally, Baker was named the AVCA Division III Player of the Week on March 10. 

All-America selections will be released by the AVCA on Monday, April 20. 

Baker and the Engineers will next play St. Joseph's (Long Island) in the play-in match in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, April 16 on the campus of Stevens in Hoboken, N.J.
