CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Sophomore Braeden Baker of the MIT men's volleyball team has been named an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Honorable Mention All-American. The program has now had an All-American in three-consecutive years with Baker becoming the 11th Engineer to be named an All-American.
This season Baker has been named First Team All-UVC and finished the year 250 kills and a .251 hitting percentage while averaging 3.16 kills per set. He has 15 matches with at least 10 kills and put up a career-high 28 against NYU on March 7. Additionally, Baker was named the AVCA Division III Player of the Week on March 10.
