NEW ORLEANS, La. - The MIT sailing team earned an 11th-place finish at the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Team Race Championship, hosted by Tulane University in New Orleans, La. Overall, MIT finished with a 5-9 record.
MIT finished day one in 10th-place with a 4-4 record, earning wins over Harvard, Roger Williams, Georgetown, and Michigan. On day two, the Engineers picked up a win over St. Mary's (MD).
The skippers for MIT were Brooke Barry, Emma Wang and Karya Basaraner. Christine Keedy Brown, Elliott Chalcraft, Kaitlyn Beaver, Layla Bursor, Alice Dunning, Tamsin Horne, and Sophia Woodbury were on the crew.

- The Engineers will await selections for the Fleet Race National Championships. The Women's Fleet Race will take place from May 15-18 while the Open Fleet Race will take place from May 19-22. Both will be hosted by USF in Tampa, Fla.
