CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The MIT men's heavyweight crew and men's and women's lightweight crew teams have been selected to participate in the 2026 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championship regatta, following the announcement by the IRA Stewards and Commissioner Laura Kunkemueller on May 19.
The 123rd running of the IRA National Championship will take place on Lake Natoma in Gold River, California, May 29 – 31, 2026 at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center. This year marks the fifth time the championship will be held on the West Coast at Lake Natoma.
