CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After winning the program's second consecutive NEWMAC Championship and third overall, No. 24 MIT claimed an automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship and was selected to host first and second round games on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10. The Engineers earned a first-round bye and will play the winner of No. 15 Gettysburg College and Husson University.
MIT enters the tournament with a 16-3 overall record and it will be making the program's fifth appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
