What was your most memorable experience as a student-athlete at Springfield College?
On the field, it was probably winning two NEWMAC Championships and going to the NCAA Tournament twice. Off the field, the friendships I made through lacrosse because of the things we went through from the start of fall ball to the end of the spring season together. Those ups and downs we experienced every year, they're always different and something I still miss.
What is your favorite thing about working at MIT?
My favorite thing about working at MIT is definitely the student-athletes that we get to work with. The young women on our team are incredible people who really work their hardest on and off the field to not only be the best they can be but also to make the world a better place. I'm always so proud of what they're doing and I really enjoy being with them every day.
Why should a prospective women's lacrosse player come to MIT?
MIT is a very special place and anyone looking to come to MIT should know that we have such incredible opportunities. Our philosophy is that family comes first, followed by academics, then lacrosse, and then everything else MIT has to offer. Whether it's doing research, working with professors outside of class, taking time to maybe invent something, or being in a club that you really enjoy. Although the culture at MIT is to be really busy, you're encouraged to pursue your interests.
If you had to make a playlist of music, what would be the top three songs on it?
Although this would always be changing, right now I would say "What Have I Done" by Dermot Kennedy, "Home" by Phillip Phillips and anything from the Hamilton soundtrack.
What is your dream vacation destination?
It would probably be going to Italy. I have been out of the country twice and that's just a place that I really want to explore.
What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is probably "Beartown" by Fredrik Backman and the sequel, "Us Against You."
What do you do to relax?
I love to be outside. Whether it's going for a walk, riding a bike, or going for a run. I also love to play pickleball, I love to bake, and I also like to read.
Which podcasts are you listening to?
Some of my favorite podcasts are "Laughter Permitted" with Julie Foudy and "Where is My Mind?" with Niall Breslin.
What is your favorite professional sports team?
I am a big Boston sports fan. I usually follow the Patriots and the Celtics the most. During the past couple of years I've really become a Celtics fan because I like to learn from Brad Stevens. I really like what he's done with the team. I also like the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team, but they aren't on TV very much.
What is your favorite sport, besides lacrosse, to watch on TV or stream?
It totally depends on the day. I love to watch women's sports, college sports and currently I won't miss a Celtics game.
