Engineers 1
- A Division: 10th of 18 (126 points) – The Engineers 1 boat, steered by seniors
Kaila Pfrang (Suffolk, N.Y.) and
Maile Jim (Honolulu, Hawaii) notched the 10
th-place finish after winning the head-to-head tiebreaker with Bowdoin College. The team made a strong push at the end to get into the top-10 with three top-five finishes in their final four races.
- B Division: 3rd of 18 (75 points) – Sophomore
Maks Groom (Seattle, Wash.) and
Wendy Wu (Andover, Mass.) guided the Engineers to a third-place finish, notching three victories and six overall top-three finishes.
Engineers 2
- A Division: 9th of 18 (120 points) – The MIT boat notched 10 top-10 finishes, just missing out on eighth place as the Engineers tied Boston College, but took the ninth-place finish due to the head-to-head tiebreaker. The crew of first-year
Lucy Brock (Austin, Texas) and senior
Lulu Russell (Marion, Mass.) finished strong earning two top-three finishes in their last rotations to help pull them even with BC.
- B Division: 10th of 18 (138 points)Â - Junior
Emily Scherer (Oshkosh, Wisc.), Â sophomore
Matthew Elliot Waterford, Mich.) and first-year
Shaye Bersin (Port Washington, N.Y.) all helped guide MIT to a top-finish in the race. The team was consistent throughout the race, earning nine top-10 finishes.

Stu Nelson Trophy – (2nd of 13, 185 points)
- A Division (2nd of 13, 66 points) : The boat of senior
Dana Haig (Beach Haven, N.J.) and junior
Grace Mao (Overland Park, Kan.) finished in the top-10 in all but one race as they earned eight top-five finishes overall.
- B Division (2
nd of 13, 43 points) : First-years
Brooke Schmelz (Monmouth Beach, N.J.) and
Samantha Karlson (Groton, Conn.) won five races during their rotations while also earning two second-place finishes.
Coed Atlantic Coast Championship Qualifier – (8th of 18 324 points)
- A Division (8th of 18, 163 points) : The Engineers used a mix of skippers and sailors as senior
Alex Abate (Kemah, Texas), senior
John Ped (Portland, Ore.) and junior
Abby VanLonkhuyzen (Yarmouth, Maine) all worked together to ge the top-ten victory for MIT, earning 11 top-10 finishes.
- B Division (9th of 18, 161 points) : MIT used a group of sailors and skippers who all helped guide the boat to a top-10 finish, finishing just two points behind eighth-place Darthmouth. Sophomore
Sam Bruce (Severna Park, Md.), senior
Jeremy McCulloch (San Diego, Calif.), first-year
Nicholas Abate (Kemah, Texas), and senior
Suparnamaaya Prasad (Yorktown, Va.) put together six top-five finishes including four top-three finishes.

- MIT is back in the water next weekend for three more races. The Engineers will host the Women's Atlantic Coast Tournament while MIT will also send boats to the Savin Hill Invitational and the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship from Saturday, October 16- Sunday October 17.
