The Lead:Â The MIT Engineers scored the first two goals of the game against No. 13 Harvard, but the Crimson came back to defeat the Engineers, 21-11 on Sunday afternoon in the Zesiger Center Pool.

HOW IT HAPPENED

- Goals from senior
Miller Geschke (Los Altos, Calif.) and sophomore
Richard Yun (Irvine, Calif.) gave the Engineers an early 2-0 lead before the Crimson responded with back-to-back goals to tie the match.

- Geschke put MIT back in the lead with a goal at 2:12 in the first however, Harvard scored seven straight goals to pull ahead 9-3.

Luke Apostolides (Greenwich, Conn.) and Geschke cut the Crimson lead to four, and after Harvard went back up five, first-year
Kush Khamesra (Portland, Ore.) got the Engineers back to within four with a goal with six seconds remaining in the half.

- Harvard took a 14-7 lead in the third quarter before the Engineers scored the next three with two from Geschke and one from Yun to make it a four-score contest.

- The Crimson went on a 7-1 run to conclude the game.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Geschke finished with a team-high five goals and grabbed three steals. He now ranks second all-time in career goals with 255.Â

Jack King (Los Altos, Calif.) led the team with three assists and four steals.

Colin Weaver (Huntington Beach, Calif.) made 14 saves in goal and added one assist.
UP NEXT:
- MIT is back in action on Saturday, October 15 for two neutral site matches at Brown. The Engineers will face Penn St.-Behrend at 11:15 a.m. followed by a match-up with DIII No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer at 5:30 p.m.
