CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Fourteen members of the MIT water polo team have been named to the 2025 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Team. In addition, the Engineers earned team honors.
MIT finished the season with a team GPA of 3.70, ranking as the third highest among all NCAA water polo teams. Johns Hopkins posted the highest GPA of 3.76 followed by Brown at 3.73.
The individual all-academic teams are divided into three categories – Outstanding (3.71-4.00), Superior (3.41-3.70) and Excellent (3.20-3.40) – based on cumulative grade point average.
