HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Terriers took a 1-0 lead, back-to-back goals from junior

- Geschke gave MIT the lead with a goal at 5:38 followed by a five-meter goal from Kowal put the Engineers 4-2. Another score from Geschke at 2:15 increased the MIT lead to three. First-year
Adam Ivatorov (Rockaway, N.Y.) increased the MIT advantage to four at 1:32.
- The Terriers went on a 6-0 run to take a 9-6 lead before a goal from Ivatorov with six seconds left in the third stopped the run and made it a 9-7 contest.
- Kowal made it a 9-8 game at 5:18 in the fourth but SFB went on an 8-0 run to close the game.
