- The Lead: At the season-opening Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University, junior Sarah Bentley (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) competed in the 3,000 meters to open the 2022-23 indoor track and field season.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
 
- In heat four of the 3,000 on Saturday, Bentley finished sixth in her heat at 54th overall as she ran a career-best time of 10:00.29.
