The Lead: Coming off a very successful training trip, the MIT sailing team won the Seahawk Women's Team Race and earned a second-place finish at the Staake Team Race. The second-place finish at the Staake Race qualified the coed team for the CoEd Team Racing New England's at Harvard in two weeks.

- Â Competing against all of the best teams in the Mid-Atlantic Region, the Engineers were able to come out on top for an important out-of-conference victory.

- The Engineers went 14-4 over the two-day race, posting a 7-3 record in round one, a 4-1 record in the Gold 6 and finished with a perfect 3-0 record in the Final 4.
