No. 31 Men's Tennis Drops 6-3 Decision to No. 16 Wesleyan

- The Lead: The No. 31 MIT men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 road contest to the sixteenth-ranked Wesleyan Cardinals on Thursday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
 
- The Cardinals took wins in one and three doubles as juniors Joseph Li (Naperville, Ill.) and Kailas Kahler (Pawtucket, R.I.) won two doubles by an 8-5 score.
 
- Sophomore Ryan Xiao (Cary, N.C.) rallied in five singles after dropping the opening set 7-5, and won the next two by scores of 6-3, 6-3.
 
- In six singles, senior Benji Grossman (Sands Point, N.Y.) defeated Harry Portnoy by scores of 7-5,7-5.
 
UP NEXT:

- MIT heads down to Atlanta, Ga. for its Spring Break trip where it will open play on Saturday, March 25 with a 9:00 a.m. match against Sewanee followed by a 2:00 p.m. match against Birmingham-Southern.
