- The Lead: The No. 36 MIT men's tennis team concluded the home portion of the regular season with a 6-3 win over visiting No. 16 N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon on the DuPont Tennis Courts.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
 
- N.C. Wesleyan took a 2-1 lead after doubles with junior Sundeep Chakladar (Redondo Beach, Calif.) and sophomore Wayne Nelms (Baltimore, Md.) toughing out an 8-5 win in two doubles.
 
- MIT won five of six doubles, only falling at No. 1 singles.
 
- Senior Daniel Papacica (Carmel, Calif.) won in No. 3 singles over Diego Segovia 7-6, 6-1 while senior Derek Shen (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win in No. 2 singles.
 
- Senior Richter Jordaan (Denver, Colo.) won a three-set match in No. 5 singles and classmate Benji Grossman (Sands Point, N.Y.) wrapped up the day with a 6-2, 6-3 win at six singles.
