HOW IT HAPPENED AT THE TEXAS RELAYS:

- On Thursday night, junior
Gillian Roeder (Delmar, N.Y.) finished 10th out of 12 runners in the 1,500 meters as she crossed in a final time of 4:36.01. The time is currently ranked No. 1 in the country by a .09-second margin.

- On Friday morning in the 4x400 relay, the team of junior
Madeline Hon (Manhasset, N.Y.), first-year
Shreya Kalyan (Troy, Mich.), sophomore
Marina Miller (Bel Air, Md.) and junior
Julia Howarth (Barrington, R.I.), finished sixth in their heat in a time of 3:52.55 and is ranked second in the country.

HOW IT HAPPENED AT THE BOBCAT INVITATIONAL:

- In the discus on Friday, sophomore
Alexis Boykin (Clayton, Ohio) is ranked sixth in the nation as she posted a throw of 140 feet, six inches.

- First-year
Elaine Wang (West Des Moines, Iowa) was sixth in the javelin with a throw of 129 feet, 11 inches as she was sixth overall and is ranked ninth in the country. Sophomore
Emily Ball (Des Moines, Iowa) was close behind in ninth at 120 feet, nine inches as she also posted a throw of 38 feet, 11.25 inches in the shot put to finish in 21st place.

- Sophomore
Christina Crow (Mercer Island, Wash.) won her heat of the 1,500 meters and was tied for eighth overall as she ran a time of 4:42.86. Her time currently ranks her 15 in the country.

- On Saturday, Boykin posted the top shot put throw in the country as she threw 47 feet, 11.5 inches in her first attempt. The mark broke her own school record by almost 10 inches as the previous record was set at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Championship.

- In the 4x100 relay, the team of Hon, junior
Emma Martin (North Andover, Mass.), Miller and Kalyan ran the No. 9 time in the country as the Engineers won their heat in a final time of 48.31.

Krystal Montgomery (San Jose, Calif.) finished eighth in the 800 meters and fourth in her heat as she ran a time of 2:20.
