Women's Lightweight Crew Opens Head Of The Charles in Women's Championship Doubles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Senior Grace Hutter (Los Altos Hills, Calif.) and sophomore Kristen DiConza (Los Altos Hills, Calif.) combined to finish 17th in the Women's Championship Doubles for the MIT women's lightweight crew team on Saturday at the 2024 Head Of The Charles Regatta (HOCR) on the Charles River. 

Founded in 1965, the HOCR is the world's largest Regatta featuring many of the top rowers, teams and clubs from around the world.

THE BASICS: 

  • Women's Championship Doubles: 17th of 22

RACE BY RACE: 

  • Hutter and DiConza were third among the College – Championship designated crews in the event, trailing a pair of teams from Boston University. 
  • The MIT duo finished with a time of 20:32.433.
