WORCESTER, Mass. -- The MIT women's lightweight rowing team collected medals in three different events at the season opening Quinsigamond Snake Regatta on Saturday morning on Lake Quinsigamond.  

THE BASICS:

• Women's Collegiate 1x: 1st of 1 
• Women's Collegiate 4+: 3rd and 16th of 18 
• Women's Collegiate 8: 2nd of 26 

RACE BY RACE:

• Senior Grace Hutter (Los Altos Hills, Calif.) set the pace for the day opening the Snake Regatta as the only entry in the Women's Collegiate 1x, finishing with a time of 00:21:11.586.  
• MIT picked-up a bronze in the Women's Collegiate 4+ on the strength of its top boat (MIT "B") navigating the course in 00:17:53.371. The second MIT boat (MIT "C") recorded a time of 00:20:35.821, good for 16th in the 18-boat field. 
• The Engineers' 8 delivered a silver medal winning time of 00:15:49.781 in the Women's Collegiate 8's. MIT's top lightweight boat was only bested by the performance of the Engineer's top openweight boat as MIT finished with a 1-2-3 sweep in the event.
