- The Lead: The MIT men's and women's track and field teams produced three top-20 performances during the second day of the Raleigh Relays on Friday.
 
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
 
Discus (Women)

• Junior Alexis Boykin (Clayton, Ohio) finished 14^th as her second throw landed at 43.95m (144' 2") while junior Emily Ball (Des Moines, Iowa) ranked 26^th with a distance of 41.54m (136' 3").

 
Discus (Men)

• Junior Sam Engebretson (Sioux City, S.D.) placed 36^th with a mark of 44.19m (144' 11").

 
400m (Women)

• Junior Marina Miller (Bel Air, Md.) finished 34^th in 57.29 while junior Olivia Dias (East Taunton, Mass.) was 67^th in 59.41.

 
100m (Men)

• Sophomore Patrick Haertel (Cumming, Ga.) placed 19^th in 10.59, followed by sophomore Nolan Clement (Fullerton, Calif.) in 23^rd (10.61), and senior Garrett Whitmore (Webster City, Iowa) in 58^th (10.96).

 
400m (Men)

• Junior Ian Koe (San Mateo, Calif.) was 47^th with a time of 50.05.

 
110m Hurdles (Men)

• Junior Walter Truitt (Houston, Texas) finished 17^th with a time of 14.27. Graduate student Kenneth Wei (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) ranked 23^rd (14.38) while sophomore Enoch Ellis (Garland, Texas) placed 38^th (14.93).
