The Lead: The MIT men's and women's track and field teams produced three top-20 performances during the second day of the Raleigh Relays on Friday.

Discus (Women)
- Junior Alexis Boykin (Clayton, Ohio) finished 14th as her second throw landed at 43.95m (144' 2") while junior Emily Ball (Des Moines, Iowa) ranked 26th with a distance of 41.54m (136' 3").

Discus (Men)
- Junior Sam Engebretson (Sioux City, S.D.) placed 36th with a mark of 44.19m (144' 11").

400m (Women)
- Junior Marina Miller (Bel Air, Md.) finished 34th in 57.29 while junior Olivia Dias (East Taunton, Mass.) was 67th in 59.41.

- Junior Ian Koe (San Mateo, Calif.) was 47th with a time of 50.05.

110m Hurdles (Men)
- Junior Walter Truitt (Houston, Texas) finished 17th with a time of 14.27. Graduate student Kenneth Wei (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) ranked 23rd (14.38) while sophomore Enoch Ellis (Garland, Texas) placed 38th (14.93).
