Cambridge, Mass. (September 5) – The MIT women's tennis Class of 2028 has been ranked by TennisRecruiting.net as the No. 3 Division III recruiting class in the nation, with the Engineers adding
Fiona Lee (Ladera Ranch, Calif.),
Anselma Petrie (Eastchester, N.Y.),
Megan Sun (Newbury Park, Calif.), and
Chloe Zeng (Austin, Texas) to the program.
"I am very excited to welcome Chloe, Fiona, Megan, and Selma to the MIT Tennis Team family, and I look forward to watching them grow as tennis players and people over the next four years," said head coach

Megan Sun
- Graduated from Westlake High School
- Captain
- Two-time CIF Team Open Division Champion
- Two-time Team Regional State Champion
Chloe Zeng
- Graduated from Westlake High School
- CATA Most Valuable Player at Westlake High School
- CATA 2024 Female Player of the Year
- Played Line 1 2020-2024
- UIL Girls Singles State Runner-Up (2022), Third Place (2023)
- National Doubles L1 finalist, National L2 Doubles Champion
This marks the 12th time that MIT was ranked in the top 10. In addition, the Engineers are one of just five Division III teams to have a nationally ranked class in each of the 15 years that the rankings have been posted.
