Cambridge, Mass. – The MIT water polo team wrapped up the Bruno Classic on Sunday afternoon, falling to No. 15 Fordham 26-10. The Engineers followed with an exhibition match against No. 6 Pacific.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Rams jumped out to a 5-0 lead before a six on five goal from sophomore Matthew Pryce (Johannesburg, South Africa) got the Engineers on the board. Pryce tallied another six on five goal in the first period of play, which saw Fordham take an 11-2 lead.
• Junior Adam Ivatorov (Rockaway, N.Y.) scored three goals in the second as the teams went to the break with Fordham holding a 19-5 advantage. 
• Sophomore Kunal Rajadhyax (Vernon Hills, Ill.), Pryce, and Ivatorov scored the remainder of the goals for the Engineers as Fordham took the 26-10 win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Ivatorov led the way with five goals followed by Pryce with four.
• Sophomore Kieran Kearns (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) led MIT with three assists.
• The Rams had eight players with two or more goals.
