No. 8 Women’s Tennis Collects Nine NEWMAC All-Conference Awards

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – The No. 8 MIT women's tennis team saw six student-athletes receive a total of nine NEWMAC All-Conference Team honors. Senior Jay Lu (Austin, Texas), juniors Alaina Kolli (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) and Artemis Pados (Delray Beach, Fla.), sophomores Saina Deshpande (Pune, India) and Anastasia Samets (Ocean, N.J.), and first-year Chloe Zeng (Austin, Texas) each earned at least one award from the conference.

MIT continues its season this week in the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship. Recipients of a first-round bye, the Engineers will face either No. 14 Tufts University or Nichols College on Saturday, May 10 at host No. 7 Bowdoin College.
