Women’s Openweight Crew Reveals 2026 Spring Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT women's openweight crew and head coach Holly Metcalf have announced the team's 2026 spring schedule.

The Engineers will open the season with three straight weekends on the Charles River before returning to the Knecht Cup Regatta in April, as the look ahead to the New England Rowing Championships and the Patriot League Championships in May.

Key Dates: 

  • Spring Home Opener: Saturday, March 21 vs. Coast Guard  
  • New England Rowing Championships: May 2 on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. 
  • Patriot League Championships: May 15 on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J. 

Schedule dates, times and opponents are subject to change.
