COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the MIT field hockey team received 16 individual academic honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) this week.
The Engineers placed 12 student-athletes on the National Academic Squad, which recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year. In addition, MIT had four student-athletes earn Scholar of Distinction accolades as they each had a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2025-26 academic year.
