MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- MIT men's track and field senior Enoch Ellis has been named the NEWMAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 29, 2026. The honor is the first of his career.

Ellis, a native of Garland, Texas opened the spring season with an 18th-place finish in the 110m Hurdles at the Raleigh Relays. Ellis' time of 14.57 seconds was the top time in the region and a top-ten time nationally to open the outdoor season.

Enoch and the Engineers will compete at the Sam Howell Invitational in Princeton, NJ and the UConn Dog Fight in Storrs, CT on Saturday, April 4.
