BABSON PARK, Mass. - In a matchup of NEWMAC undefeated teams, it was host No. 11 Babson coming away with a 5-2 win over the No. 26 MIT men's tennis team on Tuesday afternoon on the Babson Tennis Courts. 

THE BASICS: 

• Score: Babson 5, MIT 2 
• Records: No. 26 MIT (9-6 Overall, 4-1 Overall); No. 11 Babson (13-4, 5-0 NEWMAC) 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• In No. 1 singles, Adam Sun and Grant Gallagher took a 6-4 win over Alex Merson and Maxin Zlobinski.  
• Tyler Li and Hunter Liao took on Edward Wang and Sebastian Mendoza in two doubles with the Babson team taking the 6-3 win. 
• SangHyuk Im and Rushil Patel tied up the finals double match at four all before Louis Bourn and Martin Mejia won the next two sets to take a 6-4 win in No. 3 doubles and give the Beavers the doubles point.  
• Babson won four of six doubles matches, taking courts 1,2,5, and 6. 
• In court three, Siddharth Marathe defeated Zlobinsky by a score of 6-4, 6-4. 
• After dropping the first set 2-6, Li rallied to take the next two from Mendoza, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3). 
• Gallagher took set one 7-6 (7-4) over Max August Lidman, but Lidman took the next two sets.
