CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 25 MIT men's tennis team took a 5-2 win over Wesleyan on Friday afternoon on the DuPont Tennis Courts. 
 
THE BASICS: 

• Score: MIT 5, Wesleyan 2 
• Records: No. 25 MIT (7-4 Overall); Wesleyan (3-6 Overall) 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• The Engineers won all three doubles matches. MIT started off with a 6-2 win in No. 2 doubles as Tyler Li and Hunter Liao defeated Brett Keeling and Max Litten. Rushil Patel and SangHyuk Im took down Chase Burke and Thomas Jan in No. 3 doubles and Adam Sun and Grant Gallagher earned a 7-6 win in No. 1 over Ryuto Saito and Chase Kasday. 
• The Cardinals lone wins came in No. 1 singles with a Saito win in three sets over Liao and a Jani two-set win in No. 5 singles over Shrish Choudhary. 
• Sun took down Keeling in three sets in No. 2 singles and Siddharth Marathe followed with a sweep over Chase Burke in No. 3 singles, 6-2, 7-6. 
• Li took a straight-set win over Tai MacDonald in No. 4, 6-0, 7-5 and Gallagher rallied to earn a three-set win in six singles over Litton. Litton took the first set 6-3, but Gallagher won the next two, 6-4, 6-4.

• The Engineers remain at home as they will welcome Wheaton to Cambridge for a 1:00 PM NEWMAC match.
