CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT's Artemis Pados was voted to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Division III Women's Tennis First Team. A Third Team selection last year, she became the first student-athlete in program history to be a repeat honoree. The Engineers, who are the all-time leaders across all divisions in producing CSC Academic All-Americas with 478 honors, have now received 10 women's tennis awards.
 
Playing in the No. 1 doubles position this season, Pados compiled a 20-8 record. She collected her fourth NEWMAC All-Conference Doubles First Team award and along with partner Alaina Kolli they were named fourth alternates for the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Doubles Championship. Pados finished her career with a 66-25 doubles record and a 12-6 ledger in singles action.
 
The recipient of the 2026 NEWMAC Laurels of Academic Excellence for women's tennis, Pados is a three-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team qualifier and Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete who graduated with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science. A member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and the HKN EECS Honor Society, she received the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Award and the Department of Defense National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship Award. In addition to conducting UROPs with the Julia Lab and the Network Coding and Reliable Communications Group, Pados was a research intern with the Numerical Algorithms and High-Performance Computing Group at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
 
Pados was a Global Teaching Labs instructor in Cyprus where she developed and led interactive lessons on robotics, AI, and linear algebra for high school and university students and professionals. An undergraduate teaching assistant and a HKN EECS certified tutor, she was a mentor at Symbiotic STEM, a program for middle and high school students which aims to improve diversity and inclusion in STEM.
