200-Yard Medley
 
- The Engineers took the top two spots with the 'A' team of first-year Iris Yang (Seattle, Wash.), junior Edenna Chen (Colorado Springs, Colo.), senior Olivia McGrath (Chevy Chase, Md.), and sophomore Melody Wen (Cary, N.C.) in first with a time of 1:46.04 followed by the team of first-year Katarina Augustyn (Eau Claire, Wis.), graduate student Sara Nicholas (Wilmette, Ill.), first-year Kaleigh Spears (Fairhope, Ala.) and senior Lindsey Bjornstad (Mequon, Wis.) in second with a time of 1:47.60.
 
 
200-Yard Freestyle
 
- Augustyn took first with a time of 1:54.42.
 
 
100-Yard Backstroke
 
- The Engineers swept the top spots led by senior Laura Rosado (New Haven, Conn.) with a time of 58.99 followed by Yang with a mark of 59.08.
 
- Spears captured third with a time of 1:00.02.
 
 
100-Yard Breaststroke
 
- Chen won the event with a time of 1:05.56 followed by Nicholas in second with a mark of 1:07.80.
 

50-Free
 
- Wen captured second with a time of 24.63.
 

1-Meter Diving
 
- First-year Rachel Loh (Arcadia, Calif.) posted an NCAA Regional score as she finished second with 285.15 points.
 
- Two more Engineers posted NCAA Regional scores with junior Katelin Du (Scarsdale, N.Y.) in third with an overall score of 273.44 and junior Megha Maran (Elk Grove, Calif.) in fourth with a mark of 272.62.
 

100-Yard Free
 
- Sophomore Helen Sun (Solon, Ohio) took second with a time of 54.13.
 

200-Yard Backstroke

- Augustyn took the top spot with a time of 2:06.29 followed by Rosado in second with a mark of 2:07.49.
 

200-Yard Breaststroke
 
- Chen captured the top spot with a time of 2:23.23.
 
 
500-Free
 
- First-year Miri Griffin (Centennial, Colo.) captured second with a time of 5:15.42.
 
 
100-Yard Butterfly
 
- Sophomore Sydney Chun (Chandler, Ariz) took the top spot with a mark of 57.86 with junior Angelina Zhang (Sherborn, Mass.) right behind in third with a time of 59.26.
 
 
3-Meter Diving
 
- Loh won the event with an NCAA regional score of 317.48.
 
- Maran and Du also notched NCAA Regional scores finishing second and third with marks of 296.40 and 275.32, respectively.
 
 
200-Yard I.M.
 
- Augustyn won the event with a time of 2:08.59 followed by Chen in third with a time of 2:11.45.
 
 
200-Yard Freestyle Relay
 
- The MIT 'A' team of Bjornstad, McGrath, Rosado, and Wen took second with a time of 1:38.33.

- MIT returns to the pool on Saturday, January 29 for a meet against Amherst. Prior to the 1 p.m. meet the Engineers will recognize their senior class. Please note that only members of the MIT community who are in the Covid Pass system may attend home athletic events during IAP.
