Northhampton, Mass – Four members of the MIT Women's Diving team competed on the one-meter board at the 2022 NCAA Division III Northeast Regional Championships on Friday afternoon at Smith College.

20 divers from across the region are competing for a spot at the 2022 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held March 16-19 at the IUPUI IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.Â

First-year
Ava Dijstelbloem (Rose Valley, Pa.) led the way for the Engineers, as she finished in fifth overall with a score of 393.35, followed by classmate
Rachel Loh (Arcadia, Calif.) in sixth with a score of 390.85. Junior
Katelin Du (Scarsdale, N.Y.) finished in 13th with a score of 349.50 while classmate
Megha Maran (Elk Grove, Calif.) finished 17th overall with a mark of 335.60.
Hannah Karlin of Amherst won the event with a score of 422.85 followed by teammate
Sydney Bluestein with a mark of 421.65 and
Kathryn Murphy in third with a score of 413.90.

The divers will return tomorrow to compete off the three-meter board beginning at 2:30 p.m.
