Northhampton, Mass – First-year
Rachel Loh (Arcadia, Calif.) finished third on the three-meter board to lead the way for the MIT Diving team members at the NCAA Diving Regionals which were held on the campus of Smith College. Loh, the NEWMAC Women's Diver of the Year, was one of four Engineers competing in the event.
Loh took third with 409.10 total points and, junior
Katelin Du (Scarsdale, N.Y.) finished in 11th with a score of 356.85. Junior
Megha Maran (Elk Grove, Calif.) grabbed a 16th-place finish with a score of 314.70 followed by first-year
Ava Dijstelbloem (Rose Valley, Pa.) with a score of 306.50.
Sadie Smith of Bowdoin won the event with a score of 426.80 followed by
Adelaide Herman of Williams with a score of 419.80.
The NCAA will announce the selected divers next week.
