- The Lead: The MIT men's tennis team earned a 6-3 victory over Colby College on Saturday afternoon inside the J.B. Carr Tennis Bubble.
 

HOW IT HAPPENED:
 
- The Engineers took victories in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles with first-year Carl-Herman Grant (Oslo, Norway) and first-year Daniel Antov (Austin, Texas) taking an 8-6 win in the second position followed by a win in third doubles by first-year Wayne Nelms (Baltimore, Md.) and sophomore Sundeep Chakladar (Redondo Beach, Calif.) by a score of 8-4.
 
- Junior Derek Shen (Chestnut Hill, Mass.),  first-year Ryan Xiao (Cary, N.C.), and sophomore Daniel Sharygin (Newburgh, Ind.) all earned straight-set wins in singles while sophomore Kailas Kahler (Pawtucket, R.I.) pulled out a three-set win in the fourth spot.
