200-Yard IM
Â
- First-year
Kate Augustyn (Eau Claire, Wis.) earned her first All-America accolade as she finished eighth in the event with a time of 2:03.44.
Â
- Junior
Edenna Chen (Colorado Springs, Colo.) earned honorable mention honors with her ninth-place finish as she touched the wall in 2:02.38. Overall this is her fifth All-America accolade.

200-Yard Medley Relay
Â
- The Engineer team of Augustyn, Chen, senior
Olivia McGrath (Chevy Chase, Md.), and sophomore
Melody Wen (Cary, N.C) finished third in the event with a finals time of 1:40.81. The top-two finishers, Kenyon and Emory, both broke the previous NCAA record time of 1:40.11. Chen swam a 27.29 on the breaststroke which was the fastest time in the field and helped seal the third-place finish for MIT.
- The time is a new school record and is the highest relay finish at the championships in program history.Â
