MARLBOROUGH, Mass.  – MIT's Eileen Sadati was named the NEWMAC Women's Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 19. This is the first time she has received this award.
 
In a 2-0 week for the No. 15 Engineers, Sadati averaged 4.29 kills per set and had a hitting percentage of .333. She led all players with 17 kills and hit .400 in a 25-20, 25-23, 25-17 win against Emerson College last Tuesday. Sadati went on to produce 13 kills and four aces in a 22-25, 25-6, 25-20, 25-20 victory over Springfield College on Saturday.
 
MIT returns to action on Tuesday, October 21 when it travels to Babson College for a 6:00 PM NEWMAC match.
