The MIT sailing team raced in two regattas over the weekend, earning top-five finishes in both.  
 
Liam O'Keefe Team Race Trophy | Providence, R.I. | 5th of 8 

• The Engineers finished with a 3-4 record. Sunday's racing was canceled due to the cold weather. 
• MIT grabbed victories over Dartmouth, Tufts, and Rhode Island. 
• Skippers for the Engineers were graduate student Sam Bruce (Annapolis, Md.), senior Julius Heitkoetter (Austin, Texas), and first year Will Kulas (Jensen Beach, Fla.). The Crew was sophomore Katherine Jankowski (Hillsborough, Calif.), senior Yitian Zhu (Katy, Texas), and senior Samantha Karlson (Groton, Conn.).   

Harvard Women's Team Race | Cambridge, Mass. | 3rd of 6 

• MIT finished with a 3-6 record which placed them tied for third with Roger Williams. 
• The Engineers earned wins over Tufts and Roger Williams in round one and defeated Tufts in round two.  
• The Skippers for MIT were junior Brooke Barry (West Hartford, Conn.), sophomore Emma Wang (McLean, Va.), first year Sophia Woodbury (Sarasota, Fla.), and first year Katelyn Battacharia (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.). The Crew was made up of first year Christine Keedy Brown (Miami, Fla), sophomore Elliott Chalcraft (Bainbridge Island, Wash.), and senior Shayne Bersin (Port Washington, N.Y.).
