RALEIGH, N.C. — The MIT women's track & field team concluded the Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State University, with competition in the hammer and the 4x400m relay on Saturday. Senior Alexis Boykin (Clayton, Ohio) finished seventh in the hammer with the top mark in Division III to begin the outdoor season.

• Hammer : Boykin was 7th with a mark of 58.12 on her first attempt. Senior Emily Ball (Des Moines, Iowa) 42nd with a mark of 46.28m on the third of three attempts, did not advance to the final.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Boykin's mark in the hammer leads Division III. She has the top mark in the hammer, shot and discus after the weekend.
- Ball is 15th in Division III in the hammer,22nd in the shot and 25th in the discus.
- The 4x400m relay is the fourth fastest mark in Division III this season.
