Favorite Sports Memory:
- Winning the Long Island Championship in lacrosse and football during my senior year of high school.
Favorite Moment as an MIT Student-Athlete:
- In the last game of the 2020 lacrosse season, two of our seniors were cleared to play after having been kept out due to injury. One guy scored a goal and the other had an assist as we went on to win the last game before being sent home for Covid-19. It was a special moment on a very bitter day.
Off the Field at MIT:
- Majoring in aerospace engineering with a concentration in music
- Internships: Metis Design Corp. (aerospace engineering intern), MilliporeSigma (mechanical engineering intern)
- Researched out of oven curing with applications of carbon nanotubes to improve structural integrity of aerospace parts made of carbonfiber
- Conducted a UROP working with carbonfiber and foam to create a safer football helmet (Inverted Football Helmet Project, aka “I-Helmet”)
- MIT Driverless
- MIT Little Beavers Running Group
High School:
- Graduated from Shoreham-Wading River High School
- All-Division Second Team, Academic All-County
- 2016 Long Island Champions, 2016 and 2017 Suffolk County Champions
- Three-time varsity letterwinner
- Received two varsity letters for soccer, earned a varsity letter as a member of the football team and the basketball team
- Captured the 2016 Football Suffolk County and Long Island Championship titles
- Salutatorian
- AP Scholar with Honors
- National Honor Society vice-president, Principal's List Recognition, Honor Roll all four years
