- The Lead: In a quad meet with RPI, Bates and Tufts, the No. 11 ranked MIT men's track and field team earned the victory with a total of 71.50 points. The Engineers posted three top-15 national marks and seven event victories at the meet.

- First-year
Ian Koe (San Mateo, Calif.) picked up the win in the 400 meters in 48.32 and is ranked seventh in the country. Graduate student
Benton Wilson (Dublin, Ohio) was third in the event at 49.19 seconds. Wilson was second in the 200 with a time of 21.98 seconds, followed by junior
Omozusi Guobadia (Katy, Texas) in fifth at 23.04. Junior
Jeremiah Budiman (Plano, Texas) led the way in the 100 in second at 11.24 seconds, with Guobadia in fourth at 11.34.

- In the pole vault, graduate student
Liam Ackerman (Miami, Fla.) earned another victory as he cleared 15 feet, nine inches. The duo of senior
Everett Brandyberry (Hill City, Kan.) and first-year
Luka Srsic (Worthington, Ohio) is now tied for 12th nationally as they finished second with a clearance of 15 feet, five inches. Senior
Max Hardy (Houston, Texas) also scored with a height of 14 feet, 7.25 inches to finish in fourth place.

Walter Truitt (Houston, Texas) continued his outstanding outdoor season with a pair of wins in the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles. He is now ranked 15th in the country in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.85 seconds, along with a time of 55.92 seconds in the 400.

- Junior
Matthew Kearney (Austin, Texas) picked up the win in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as he ran a time of 9:37.18. Senior
Nicholas Medearis (Palo Alto, Calif.) finished second in the 1,500 at 3:57, while first-year
Pau Ilerbaig-Bajona (Toronto, Canada) led three scorers in the 800 in second at 1:56.34. Junior
Matt Schofield (Shorewood, Ill.) was third in the 800 at 1:56.93, with first-year
Reece Shuttleworth (Arlington, Va.) in fourth at 1:57.80.

- Senior
Nathan Basinger (Dalton, Ohio) won the shot put with a throw of 48 feet, 10 inches, with first-year
Sam Engebretson (Sioux Falls, S.D.) in third with a toss of 46 feet, 10.75 inches. The two flipped in the discus with Engebretson taking the win in 158 feet, six inches and Basinger finishing second with a distance of 149 feet, one inch. Both also finished in the top five in the hammer throw with Basinger placing second at 166 feet, seven inches and Engebretson in fifth at 142 feet, eight inches.

- Budiman finished in third in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 2.5 inches, with sophomore
Spencer Yandrofski (Chapel Hill, N.C.) in second in the high jump with a height of six feet, 0.75 inches.
